“We constantly buy and sell something. We buy good assets, sell not-so-good ones”. This is the quote from his November interview to Korrespondent, in which Konstantin Zhevago described his big business, which brought quite a decent wealth for this 34-year-old businessman. But there is not enough room in Ukraine for the businessman now to perform such operations. In January Zhevago announced that he acquired a metallurgical combine Kremikovtzi (Bulgaria) from the family of an Indian multimillionaire, Lakshmi Mittal. The annual turnover of this enterprise is $1 billion.

But to purchase something essential, it is necessary to sell something not that essential. Therefore, in the beginning of this year Zhevago pawned 73.1% of Ferrexpo stock shares in Deutsche Bank. The market value of this package is $2.25 billion. In addition, Zhevago actively promotes the shares of all his companies at the London Stock Exchange. He is the first and the only Ukrainian businessman, who already introduced the shares of his company to the International London Stock Exchange and due to this he received a certain idea about the real cost of his assets. But this desire of Poltava multimillionaire runs to a pretty penny. “Is it worth so much risk?” Igor Kolomoysky (#3) asks the journalist from Ukrainska Pravda. “Zhevago paid $400 millions to estimate his assets. Isn’t it too much?”
