Heir to Buffett Fortune Joins Ukrainian Police in Evacuation Efforts, Donates Armored Vehicles

Buffett actively participated in evacuation operations carried out by the Ukrainian police’s special unit “White Angel” in Kupiansk, in the northeastern Kharkiv region.

US businessman and philanthropist Howard Buffett visited an area mere 40 kilometers behind the frontlines, where ongoing shelling threatens civilian lives.

The heir to the Walmart founder Warren Buffett’s fortune partnered with the Ukrainian police’s special unit “White Angel,” tasked with evacuating civilians from the frontlines.

Buffett actively participated in evacuation operations carried out by the unit in Kupiansk, in the northeastern Kharkiv region, witnessing firsthand the impact of war and the courage of officers working under constant danger.

Thanks to armored vehicles donated by the Howard Buffett Foundation, law enforcement has successfully evacuated more than 200 civilians from high-risk communities.

In recognition of his support, the police presented Buffett with the unit’s official patch - a symbol of trust, unity, and shared commitment to saving lives.

Buffett’s involvement underscores his dedication to humanitarian efforts and his continued support for Ukraine during this critical time.
