Overnight Russian missile and drone strikes on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih killed two people and injured a woman, regional authorities said Wednesday.
A 77-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman were killed in the attack, while a 53-year-old woman was wounded, said Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the regional military administration, in a statement posted on Telegram.
Ganzha said the strikes also damaged several residential and non-residential buildings.
Kryvyi Rih, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) from the front line and the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has been repeatedly targeted by Russian attacks since the start of Moscow’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.
