Ukrainian-Estonian Defense Startup Farsight Vision Attracts €7.2M in Seed Financing Round

Ukrainian-Estonian startup Farsight Vision raised €7.2 million ($8.6 million) in a seed investment round led by Axon Enterprise, a US-based global industry leader in public safety.

Farsight Vision, a Ukrainian-Estonian startup specializing in AI-driven intelligence tools for the battlefield, has successfully closed a €7.2 million ($8.6 million) seed financing round, the company announced on Thursday.

The investment was led by American public safety technology giant Axon Enterprise, alongside SmartCap, and with participation from several European defense investors.

Founded in 2023 to meet Ukraine’s urgent operational needs, the startup offers a geospatial awareness and response system. In 2025, Farsight Vision was represented at the largest defense technology exhibition in Ukraine’s history, organized by Brave1. The company operates teams in both Ukraine and Estonia.

The Farsight platform creates a continuously updated 3D model of the world. This allows human operators and robotic systems, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), to coordinate their actions in dynamic environments.

According to the Farsight Vision website, the investment funds will be used to automate defense robotic systems for logistics, navigation, and weapons control. In addition, these funds will accelerate the integration of the platform with various UAV and UGV manufacturers and battle management systems. The company also plans to improve electronic warfare capabilities to protect critical infrastructure and assets on the battlefield.

“This investment strengthens the global presence of Ukrainian defense innovation and opens new paths to long-term international partnerships,” CEO and co-founder Viktoriia Yaremchuk said.

Scaling Ukrainian Miltech innovation for global markets

Farsight Vision has expanded rapidly over recent months, securing its first commercial deal in Asia and forming partnerships across several NATO countries, as per its website.

Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov noted the importance of the deal, stating that Ukraine has emerged as a global leader in AI defense applications.

“The investment in Farsight Vision illustrates how Ukrainian startups formed in response to wartime challenges are evolving into global players, contributing to new approaches to defence and strengthening the security of partners worldwide,” Fedorov added, as per Farsight Vision.

Farsight Vision is being adapted for use in disaster response, security, and the protection of critical infrastructure beyond Ukraine, the company wrote in its press release. By shortening innovation cycles and utilizing real-world operational insights, the company aims to change how autonomous systems and humans interact globally.
