UAH 77 million for communications to the military: Kyivstar and Come Back Alive completed the fundraiser within the Mission 077

Its goal is to provide the military with reliable communication so that they can act more coordinated and effectively.

Kyivstar and the Come Back Alive Foundation completed the seventh joint collection in support of the army - We Live Here: Mission 077. Its goal is to provide the military with reliable communication so that they can act more coordinated and effectively. The Project managed to raise UAH 77 million for equipment, transportation, and infrastructure expansion for the four army corps that hold the Northern border. The initiative was implemented with the information support of 1+1 Media.

The Project was in operation for almost five months and accumulated UAH 77 million. In particular, UAH 20 million was a charitable donation from Kyivstar. The rest of the funds were collected by subscribers, caring and socially responsible businesses that joined the initiative. Among the companies that joined the We Live Here: Mission 077 are: 1+1 Media, ANTs Pharmacy Network, Milk Bar, Uklon, Franko Theater, Portmone and others.

“We thank everyone who joined Mission 077. Thanks to our joint efforts, we were able to provide the military with communications. For Kyivstar, supporting the military was and remains a priority. We live and work here in Ukraine, so we systematically and comprehensively support our defenders and will continue to do so in the future,” noted Oleksandr Komarov, Kyivstar CEO.

Two equipment deliveries to the defenders have already taken place within the framework of the Project. They received the most required things: interactive panels, charging stations, satellite systems, landline phones, tablets and other equipment on which continuous communication in the units depends. As part of the last, third delivery, which will take place in the near future, pickup trucks and buses for rapid logistics will be transferred.

“During war, the advantage is given to the one who works with information faster and is able to promptly coordinate the actions of units. Reliable communication is the basis of such management. It is the nervous system of the Defense Forces. Without communication, there can be no successful offensive or defensive operation. That is why, within the framework of Mission 077, we provided the military on the northern border with comprehensive solutions for stable communication. 77 million were collected, which allowed the units to make decisions in a timely manner,” emphasized Taras Chmut, Director of the Come Back Alive Foundation.

The Initiative involves providing units with comprehensive sets of equipment for stable and reliable communications. This helps the military operate in a coordinated and efficient manner, and most importantly, save lives.

“Without communication, there is no coordination, and without coordination, there is no task completion. This is one of the basic things both in combat operations and in service in general. Today, the largest number of strikes is carried out by drones, and their work directly depends on communication - this is both Starlink and repeaters. At the same time, communication is not only walkie-talkies. It is also laptops, tablets and other tools that ensure the management and interaction of units,” added Danylo Pyatkov, Civil-Military Cooperation Officer of the 21st Corps.

It should be noted that Kyivstar consistently supports the country in times of war: over four years, the company has allocated almost UAH 4.4 billion to help the country, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, society and subscribers.
