Debris from an Iranian cluster missile fell near Ukraine’s embassy in Israel on Tuesday, March 31, landing approximately 30 meters (98 feet) from the building, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said.
“Parts of an Iranian cluster missile fell some 30 meters from Ukraine’s embassy in Israel,” Sybiha wrote on X.
He said no one was injured, as visitors were inside the embassy at the time.
Sybiha said the incident highlights the risks posed by Iran’s actions in the region.
“This incident once again proves that the Iranian regime poses a threat to everyone in the region,” he said.
He accused Tehran of disregarding international norms, including the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations.
Sybiha urged the international community to increase pressure on Iran and its allies.
“It is important for everyone to be united in protecting life from such terror… The pressure on regimes in Tehran and Moscow must be constantly increased,” he said.
