Russian troops launched a targeted strike on the city of Dnipro on the afternoon of Sunday, May 3, hitting a dormitory of the Dnipro National University.

The escalation on Sunday follows an extensive overnight assault by Russian forces involving 268 drones and ballistic missiles.
Earlier reports also confirmed a strike near a gas station in the Krynichanska community that wounded six people, including a pregnant woman and a 10-year-old boy who is in a moderate condition.
Further fatalities were reported in Odesa, where two people were killed, and in the Sumy region, where a drone strike left a police officer in a critical condition.
