Russian Drone Strike Injures 15, Including 2 Children, in Chernihiv

Fifteen people, including two children, were injured after a Russian drone crashed in Chernihiv, Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported.

Fifteen people, including two children, were injured Monday after a Russian drone struck Chernihiv, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (DSNS) reported on social media.

The drone strike sparked a fire on the first floor of a nine-story residential building, DSNS said. Rescuers evacuated 14 residents from the building before extinguishing the blaze.

 

 

The attack followed a Russian strike on a critical infrastructure facility in Chernihiv earlier on Aug. 24.
