86 civilians died in the battle actions in Donbas in 2017. Alexander Hug, Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine said this in the interview for Deutche Welle.
“In 2017, the number of victims among civilians were 478 people, 86 of them were murdered, others got injured. Compared to 2016 with 442 victims, 88 of them were murdered. The number might be higher, these are only those who we managed to check,” – he says.
