The second round of mayoral elections in major Ukrainian cities last Sunday was held at a good organizational level, said Tana de Zulueta, head of the election monitoring mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE/ODIHR).

Speaking at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday she said that based on OSCE/ODIHR observer reports, the elections were duly organized by qualified staff at polling stations.

Observers have rated the voting procedure as “good” and “very good” in 99 percent of observed cases, de Zulueta said.
