Satellite television service Xtra TV is launching 360 TuneBox, FilmBox ArtHouse, Fast&FunBox, DocuBox, FashionBox, FightBox and FilmBox Russia, channels from the SPI International worldwide portfolio.
In order
to receive the signal from all the new channels, Ukrainian TV viewers will need
to have a satellite receiver that supports DVB-S2 Mpeg- 4 SD / HD standard.
“This new
package will complement Xtra TV offer for Ukraine not only with HD channels
(Fast&FunBox, DocuBox, FashionBox and FightBox), but also with new
features: independent music videos, fashion shows, movies by independent
filmmakers as well as a healthy dose of 24/7 sports content including
motorsports, extreme sport disciplines and live broadcast of fight events from
Europe and the United States,” comments James Phillipoff, chief executive

360Tunebox
channel focuses on modern popular music of various genres, presenting
independent artists as main part of its content. Meanwhile, Fightbox HD is a compilation of the
combat sports (more than 40 disciplines) from around the globe. The channel
also features live broadcast of MMA and kickboxing events.
Fashionbox HD covers
world’s top designers and most famous brands with a special emphasis on the
trendsetters as well as the cities considered to be the capitals of fashion. Docubox HD, in its turn, airs
documentary films and TV programs devoted to nature, science and human
civilization.
Fast&FunBox
is an HD channel, dedicated to extreme sports. It presents events from the
world of surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, kite surfing, motocross,
mountain biking and other extreme sports.
Filmbox
Russia provides Russian movies and TV movies and miniseries of different kind:
comedy, adventure, fantasy, musicals, melodramas and others, while Filmbox
ArtHouse presents films of independent filmmakers from around the world. The
program includes films representing marginal tendencies in the modern cinema
art.
Satellite
television service Xtra TV (www.xtra.tv) – is a prepaid satellite TV without a
written contract, which is commercialized on the territory of Ukraine by Istil
