According to a press release of the network, in particular, the company plans to open a store in the Aurora trade center in Zaporizhia.
The retailer noted that it would open an Amstor store of 2,709 square meters in the Forum Lviv shopping center, the construction of which started last week. The western region is new for Amstor, while today the network is present in Eastern, Central and Southern Ukraine. The opening of Forum Lviv is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.
Amstor was created in 2003. It is the operator of the eponymous Ukrainian retail chain and is the asset of one of the largest Ukrainian financial and industrial groups – Smart-holding (Kyiv).
The Amstor network at present includes 29 supermarkets and hypermarkets (over 10,000 employees) in 13 cities in six regions of Ukraine.
The trade turnover of the retailer in 2011 increased by about 19% compared to 2010, to UAH 3.4 billion. The projected turnover for 2012 was estimated at UAH 4.76 billion.
