Ukraine sold 14 BTS-5B armored recovery vehicles to Azerbaijan in 2012. APA reports quoting “Unian” that this was reflected in the report of Ukrainian State Service of Export Control.
BTS-5B universal multipurpose recovery vehicle is designed for technical supply of divisions of tanks and armored vehicles. This vehicle is used for rescue works, backing up damaged equipment and transportation of spare parts and tools. It was set up on the chassis of T-72 tanks.
