You're reading: Cabinet postpones start of corporatization of coal enterprises until 2014

The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has postponed the corporatization of state coal enterprises from 2013 until 2014.

According to Cabinet decree No. 198 of April 1, 2013, appropriate changes have been made to its order No. 728 of September 19, which foresaw the start the corporatization of ten coal enterprises by 2014.

Among the coal enterprises to be corporatized are Artemvuhillia, Ordzhonikidzevuhillia, Snizhneantracit, Makiyivvuhillia, Donetsk Coal Energy Company, Krasnoarmiyskvuhillia, Dzerzhynskvuhillia (all based in Donetsk region), Donbasantracit and Luhanskvuhillia (both based in Luhansk region), as well as Volynvuhillia.

The start of corporatization of another seven coal companies was scheduled for 2014 in September last year. This term was kept in the renewed decree. These are the following state-owned enterprises: Krasnolymanska Coal Company, Pivdennodonbaske No. 1 mine management, Torezantracit, Shakhterskantracit, Selidivvuhillia (all based in Donetsk region), Pervomaiskvuhillia (Luhansk region) and Lvivvuhillia.
