You're reading: Court doesn’t satisfy the claim on the collection of a debt of Hr 145 million of Ukraine International Airlines

The Prosecutor General's Office in Kyiv region has filed a counterclaim to the economic court of appeal in Kyiv against a ruling of the economic court of Kyiv City, which decided not to satisfy the claim of Prosecutor General's Office on the collection of a debt of Hr 145 million of Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) to the Boryspil airport, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office has reported.

The press service said that in May 2014 the Prosecutor General’s Office in the interests of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine and the airport filed a claim against UIA demanding to pay the debt for the ground maintenance of aircraft.

As reported, the economic court of Kyiv on Oct. 27 did not satisfy the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office to collect the UIA’s debt to the Boryspil airport.

Initially the Prosecutor General’s Office sent a claim demanding to collect UAH 24.1 million. However, finally the sum was revised upwards to Hr 145.3 million.
