Estonia's Prime Minister Andrus Ansip has said there has been an improvement in the investment climate in Ukraine in recent years.

During a meeting with Ukraine’s Income and Tax Minister Oleksandr Klymenko in Kyiv on Friday, Ansip noted that the rules for doing business in Ukraine have become clearer to Estonian businessmen.

“My business delegation, for instance, includes representatives who are investing $100 million in Ukraine. There are other representatives that have invested around $30 million. As I said, it [the market] has become more predictable, and this has brought more willingness to invest in Ukraine. Predictability is the most important thing for businessmen, and a stable investment climate is also very important,” the prime minister said.

Ukraine currently has 460 companies with Estonian investments.
