You're reading: Finance ministry approves new VAT administration procedure

The Finance Ministry of Ukraine in its order No. 21 dated January 28, 2016 has approved a new value added tax (VAT) administration procedure.

The ministry’s order on the approval of forms and procedure for filling in VAT reports and submitting them to tax agencies was published on Jan. 30, 2016 in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper.

“The form of the tax declaration for value added tax, the form for updated calculating tax liabilities on VAT related to the correction of errors found by companies; the form for calculating tax liabilities accrued by the recipients, who are not registered as VAT payer, of the services provided by nonresidents, including by their permanent representative offices not registered as tax payers on the customs territory of Ukraine,” Deputy Finance Minister of Ukraine Olena Makeyeva wrote on her Facebook page on Jan. 30.

She also said that the procedure for filling in a report on VAT and submitting it to the tax agencies has been approved.
