You're reading: Finance Ministry issues fourth tranche of VAT bonds for Hr 125.3 million

Ukraine's Ministry of Finance on Oct. 6 has issued the fourth tranche of bonds to formalize the debt on VAT refunds in the amount of Hr 125.314 million.

According to the ministry, their recipients were 20 VAT payers, the debt to whom on VAT refunds, accumulated by the beginning of 2014, was confirmed by the State Fiscal Service and the Ministry of Finance on Oct. 2.

Interest income and depreciation on securities will be repaid every six months at a rate of 9.5 percent per annum, starting from April 6, 2015, the date of the full repayment of bonds is Sept. 30, 2019.

As reported, Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance on July 8 issued the first tranche of VAT bonds worth Hr 3.577 billion maturing on July 2, 2019. The second tranche was issued on July 29 for Hr 2.17 billion and the maturity date on July 22, 2019, the third one – on Aug. 20 for Hr 950 million and a maturity date on Aug. 14, 2019.
