The Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund on Sept. 23 started payments to the depositors of Eurogasbank on contracts, which terminated before July 17, and under bank account agreements through Bank Kyivska Rus (all based in Kyiv), the fund said on its Web site.
As reported, the Individuals’ Deposit Guarantee Fund from July 17 introduced temporary administration in Eurogasbank. Temporary administration will run for three months – until Oct. 17.
Eurogasbank was founded in 2006. The largest shareholders in the second quarter 2014 were Oleksiy Ivchenko (39.6296 percent), Halyna Ivchenko (31.9574 percent), Khrystyna Ivchenko (17.7778 percent).
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, on July 1, 2014 in terms of total assets Eurogasbank ranked 53rd (Hr 2.738 billion) among the 173 banks operating in the country.
