Kremenchuk car assembly plant (KrASZ, Poltava region), part of AIS Group, plans in 2014 to double production compared to 2013, to 16,000 vehicles, company director Mykola Chernysh has told reporters.

“Our preliminary calculations and plans for 2014 are to increase the output by two times compared to 2013,” he said.

According to the director, in this regard the company is mulling the transfer to a two-shift system, as well as increasing the number of employees.

As reported, the plant plans in 2013 to increase vehicle production by 2.5 times compared to 2012, to more than 8,000 vehicles.

KrASZ produces vehicles using a semi knocked down (SKD) method and services cars. The company is part of AIS Group.

AIS Group is one of the leaders on the Ukrainian automobile market. Its core business is sales of new passenger cars, trucks, and special-purpose vehicles and buses.
