Municipal enterprise Pharmacy (Kyiv), the owner of the eponymous network of municipal drugstores in Kyiv, in January - June 2015 saw its net profit rise to Hr 3 million from Hr 370,000 in the same period of 2014, Kyiv City State Administration has said.

“We managed to achieve this result in a relatively short period due to modern management solutions and a balanced market approach, which gave us the opportunity to regain trust of suppliers, implement a number of social projects, reduce prices in the pharmacy network, and provide pharmacies with a full range of medicines,” Pharmacy CEO Ruslan Svitly said.

The report, without taking dynamics into account, clarifies that the net income of Pharmacy in January – June 2015 amounted to Hr 219.569 million.

As reported, in the middle of April 2015 Svitly said that by the end of this year Pharmacy drugstores would open in every health care center of the capital, including policlinics.

The Pharmacy network on April 2015 included 98 pharmacies and 56 pharmaceutical points in Kyiv, of which 48 were engaged in extemporaneous drug production.
