We are making progress and we want to speed it up," Boiko said in Brussels on Thursday ahead of a meeting with European Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger.

The minister said that the modernization of the GTS envisages several stages of financing, the first one being EUR 300 million for the upgrading of the Urengoi-Pomary-Uzhgorod trunk pipeline.
