Profit of UkrSibbank (Kharkiv, part of BNP Paribas) totaled Hr 76.442 million in Jan.-June 2015, while year-over-year its loss stood at Hr 437.589 million, the bank said in a quarterly report.

The bank said that its profit in Q2 2015 amounted to Hr 395.332 million (the loss in Q1 2015 was Hr 318.89 million), while year-over-year the loss totaled Hr 164.4 million.

Net interest-bearing income was up by 50.9 percent in January-June 2015 year-over-year, to Hr 1.114 billion.

Total assets rose by 35.5 percent, to Hr 35.699 billion.

Credits and debts of clients dropped by 19.4 percent, reaching Hr 17.797 billion.

Reserves for overdue credits reached 17.7 percent of total sum of clients’ credits and debts as of early July, while as of early 2015 they were 14.3 percent.

The charter capital remained unchanged, being Hr 1.774 billion, while net worth grew by 4.3 percent, to Hr 1.857 billion.

UkrSibbank was founded in 1990. BNP Paribas S.A. (France) at the beginning of July 2015 owned 84.9996 percent of the charter capital of the bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development – 15 percent.

The bank ranked 12th among 133 operating banks as of April 1, 2015, in terms of total assets worth Hr 34.697 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
