You're reading: Stakhanov wagon plant supplies 52 of 300 ordered cars to Ferrexpo

Stakhanov Wagon Plant (Luhansk Oblast) as of June 30 this year had supplied 52 of the 300 wagons ordered in February 2014 to Ferrexpo mining company with assets in Ukraine against the backdrop of stopped activities due to hostilities.

According to a company report for the first half of 2015 on the London Stock Exchange, 25 wagons were delivered within the specified period – until the end of 2014 – for $1.325 million ($887,000 at the exchange rate at the time of delivery) and another 27 cars were delivered in April this year for a total of $1.431 million ($842,000 at the rate at the time of delivery).

As reported, the group, through its subsidiary Yerystove GOK, ordered 300 wagons worth a total of $15.9 million from the plant, in particular the purchase of 233 wagons in 2014 was approved by the shareholders at a meeting in May 2012, and another 67 cars were ordered during economic activity.

The term for the delivery of wagons was the second half of the 2014 financial year.
