Truskavets (Lviv region), Oct. 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The new wording of the Customs Code could be adopted next week, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Social Policy Minister Sergiy Tigipko said at the XI International Economic Forum "Economic Integration - National Priorities," which is taking place in Truskavets on Oct.14-15.

"The new wording of the Customs Code will be adopted next week, and it will clearly stipulate what the customs price is and also that customs officers will not be able to influence this figure. We also managed to reduce the number of documents needed for exporting and importing goods, and this provision will be adopted," he said.

Tigipko also said that a bill on bankruptcy had been tabled in parliament.

"We have significantly simplified and regulated all of the procedures for conducting the operation of bankruptcy," he said.

He said that a decision on the reorganization of phytosanitary controls would soon be taken.

"Instead of ten regulatory agencies in this area, there will be one European-style structure that will carry out phytosanitary controls," Tigipko said.
