Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) has taken two Embraer 190 planes from Dniproavia Airline's fleet (Dnipropetrovsk) on wet leasing, the UIA's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.

The press service said that earlier the said planes flew with AeroSvit (Kyiv).

The press service said that its fleet, as a part of a fleet upgrade
and expansion program, in March 2013 was expanded to include a Boeing
737-500, which was the 22nd plane in the airline’s fleet.

The first flight using the new plane with 114 seats in two classes
was performed on March 25, 2013 on the Kyiv-Vienna-Kyiv route.

As reported, in January 2013 UIA took two Boeing 737-800 Next Generation made in 2012 to leasing, which earlier AeroSvit used.

UIA was founded in 1992. The company has been fully privatized.

Its fleet consists of 22 medium-range Boeing-737 aircraft. Its home airport is Kyiv’s Boryspil International Airport.
