You're reading: UMH builds up 100 percent in Europa Plus radio station

Ukrainian Media Holding (UMH) has increased its stake in private joint-stock company Europositiv Studio (authentication signal Europa Plus) to 100 percent, says a company report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine.

Earlier UMH held 500 shares (50 percent) in the radio station.

As of Q2, 2013, the shareholders in Europa Plus were Well-Rise (16 percent), Metinvestconsulting LLC (17 percent) and Heltex LLC (17 percent, all based in Dnipropetrovsk).

As reported, in June 2013, UMH received a permit to increase stakes in several companies, where the holding has controlling stakes, including Europositiv Studio.

The VETEK Group, created by Serhiy Kurchenko, on June 21, 2013 officially said that the group has acquired UMH group. It is planned that the deal will be completely finalized in the first half of 2014.
