You're reading: EU Commissioner Fule concerned about rumors of Russian arms in eastern Ukraine

European Union Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule said he was concerned over reports of Russian military equipment among the militia in eastern Ukraine.

“Seriously alarmed by reports of recent massive inflow of heavy military equipment from #Russia into #Ukraine,” the commissioner tweeted in the evening on July 14.

Fule will participate in debates on Ukraine in the European Parliament in Strasbourg on July 15. The main topic of the debates will be escalations of violence in the resistance between militia and Ukrainian law enforcement in eastern Ukraine, the European Parliament said.
