He reminded that recent days a number of the international leaders discussed a Ukrainian situation with Russian and Ukrainian presidents Vladimir Putin and Petro Poroshenko, and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso will talk with the Ukrainian president by telephone.

Being asked the interlocutor said that Barroso will talk to Poroshenko about ceasefire in the conflict zone. The media’s interlocutor said that the EU can’t give instructions to the Ukrainian authorities, how should they control the situation on their territory.

He called a situation in Donetsk as a complicated one, and it is impossible to deliver a humanitarian aid to this territory. According to the European official, armament supplies and support from Russia continue.

The EU condemns actions of the armed groups, who fight against the Ukrainian army, as well as the concentration of the Russian troops on the Ukrainian border. EU is waiting from Russia to influence on the militants and political will to stop such situation, the source said.
