You're reading: Poroshenko urges Slovenia to ratify EU-Ukraine Association Agreement

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko met with President of Slovenia Borut Pahor in Munich on Feb. 7, the Ukrainian President’s press service has reported.

“The parties have discussed the European integration of Ukraine. The Slovenian leader has emphasized that the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine was an issue of the entire Europe,” reads the statement.

Petro Poroshenko urged Slovenia to ratify the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

The parties also discussed cooperation between the two countries over the Slovenian International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance.

Borut Pahor invited Petro Poroshenko to visit Slovenia at his convenience.
