President of the Ukrainian World Congress Yevhen Sholy from February 25 to March 1, 2013 will stay at Brussels with a working visit, the press service of the Ukrainian World Congress has reported.

“During the said days the president of the Ukrainian World Congress will hold some meetings in the European Parliament, where he will discuss the importance of accelerating Ukraine’s integration to the EU with EU top officials. The top-priority issues during the talks will be issues linked to the signing of the Association Agreement, observation of European valuable by Ukraine’s authorities and the jeopardy of Ukraine’s joining the Customs Union,” reads the report.

The EU-Ukraine Summit is scheduled for February 25, 2013.

The Ukrainian World Congress unites Ukrainian organizations from 33 countries and supports liaisons with Ukrainians from another 14 countries. Founded in 1967 as a non-profit corporation, the UWC was recognized in 2003 as a non-governmental organization (NGO) by the United Nations Economic and Social Council with special consultative status.
