Donetsk – England manager Roy Hodgson believes that Ukraine's coach Oleh Blokhin needs striker Andriy Shevchenko to play in a match against England in the last game of the Euro 2012 group stage in Donetsk on June 19.

“Andriy Shevchenko is a world class player too and his CV and record
in international football and club football provokes no discussion and
I’m sure Oleh Blokhin will be very keen to get him on the field because
he’s a potential match winner,” Hodgson said during a pre-match
conference in Donetsk on Monday.

The coach praised Ukraine’s team, but said that English footballers had to focus on their own performances.
