You're reading: Lubkivsky: UEFA to take all Euro 2012 stadiums under control on May 11

All of the stadiums that are to host Euro 2012 matches are ready to ensure the security of the games at the highest level, Director of Euro 2012 in Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivsky has said.

"Today all stadiums in Ukraine and Poland are prepared to maintain security at the highest level. I’ll remind you that we have assessed all the matches of the group stage as low risk matches," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on May 8.

Lubkivsky said that on May 11, UEFA would take all of the stadiums under its control.

"A training program for stewards, volunteers and security guards who will work at the stadiums will be launched from May 12," he said.
