Dec. 18, 7:13 p.m., EuroMaidan activists are helping foreigners who come to Kyiv to demonstrate solidarity with protesters. Volunteers have been organizing excursions around Independence Square in different languages and explaining them what’s going on in Ukraine for six days already, according to information posted on EuroMaidan facebook page. “Hundreds of foreigners have expressed their support already, dozens have become a part of it by cooking food, constructing barricades and guarding the Euromaidan at night, according to organizers,” reads the post. An international tent, organized by Ukrainian musician Markian Matsekh, can be found next to the building of the main post office. — Anastasia Forina
Dec. 18, 7:08 p.m., Coordinators of National Resistance headquarters are saying they’re having trouble with food deliveries for protesters on Maidan, as well as with collection of garbage. Stepan Kubiv, the commandant of the headquarters and lawmaker from Batkivshchyna, as Mykola Blavatskiy, another lawmaker, said that every delivery requires personal intervention of parliament deputies.
