Milan -- There is progress in negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on gas supplies following negotiations on the sidelines of an Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit in Milan, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“We have agreed with our Ukrainian partners on terms and conditions of resuming supplies of gas to Ukraine, at least for the winter period,” Putin said.
At the same time, Putin noted that “a cash deficiency in Ukraine” remains a problem.
