Open Door Theater to perform Love Letters in June

Kyiv's English-language, all-volunteer theater troupe, the Open Door Theatre has rescheduled the April production of “Love Letters” to June 8-11.
“Love Letters” is the theater's first drama. The play by A.R. Gurney explores the relationship between a man and a woman, expressed through letters that they have written to each other over five decades. Events of 50 years are revealed in the letters: the innocence of notes passed in grade school, the emotional trials of adolescence and the serious business of adulthood.
This dramatic diary of events takes the audience on a roller coaster ride of emotions. There are only two characters in the performance, played by Chris Crowley and Marilyn Pifer.
This production is intense and has an adult theme and is not recommended for children. A good command of English is advised.
ODT decided not to use the old tickets, but to print new tickets for the new showings. New tickets will be available beginning May 26 at the American Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Peace Corps, International Women's Club of Kyiv, and the U.S. Embassy Community Liaison Office.
