PARIS — Masha Tsukanova is the new face on the front lines of fashion. As the editor in chief of Vogue Ukraine, which made its debut this month as Vogue’s 21st international edition, she attended shows in Milan and made a brief appearance in Paris. She seemed to be fitting right in.

“Ukrainian clients are very important for all of the
major European brands,” Ms. Tsukanova said in the bar of the Hôtel du
Louvre on Monday. She was in Paris to introduce the magazine to
designers, models and photographers, as an ambassador for the developing
luxury market in Kiev.
