Kyiv is considering the possible construction of a giant Ferris wheel, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov said.
“We are interested in the question of building a Ferris wheel. We
have recently discussed the question of what diameter it should have and
we decided that it should be the biggest observation wheel in the
world,” he said during a phone line in Kyiv on Monday, Aug. 13.
During the phone line Popov received a call from a Ukrainian who
lives in the United States, proposing that his company develop a Ferris
wheel for Kyiv according to the latest technologies without spokes.
Popov expressed interest in this question and proposed that the
Ukrainian send the sketches to his administration.
