The voter turnout is 17.52% at the presidential election in Ukraine as of 1100, according to the electronic indicator board in the Central Election Commission (CEC).

The figure concerns turnout at 182 election districts out of 213.

“The activity of voters is very high… – 17.52%. This is higher than we forecasted,” Deputy Head of CEC Zhanna Usenko-Chorna said at a briefing in the CEC on Sunday.

The highest turnout was registered in Kyiv region (22.71% of voters), Kirovohrad region (22.07%), Cherkasy region (21.66%), Khmelnytsky region (21.37%), Chernihiv region (21.14%) and Poltava region (20.91%).

The lowest turnout was seen in Donetsk region where only 5.48% of residents cast their votes, the turnout for Luhansk region is 8.23%, Odesa region – 12.17% and Kyiv city – 14.5%.
