The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has limited the amount of transferring electronic money between individuals from prepaid cards to Hr 4,000 per month.

The corresponding decision was fixed in NBU resolution No. 378, the
text of which is available on the Web site of the Verkhovna Rada.

“Individuals have the right to transfer electronic money to other
individuals using prepaid cards of an amount of up to Hr 500 per day
and not more than Hr 4,000 per month,” reads the document.

In addition, the decree foresees that the users have the right to use
electronic money for payments with the help of a refillable electronic
device in the amount of up to Hr 35,000 during a calendar year.

The calculation of this amount does not include electronic money repaid on the demand of the user during a calendar year.
