Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has called on law-enforcement agencies to accomplish the corruption cases in state-run enterprises, in particular, in Ukrzaliznytsia.

“The main thing that it should not be as usual that the searches were conducted, it was declared at the press conference that someone was caught, and in courts the cases were bought and bribed, and then all successfully are released, as all who worked in the times of Viktor Yanukovych were released,” he said on the 1+1 TV channel late on Sunday.

Yatseniuk said that no official from the state companies which worked during the previous authorities and causes losses of dozens of millions of hryvnias to the state was imprisoned.

He reminded that 1.5 months ago he discharged Ukrzaliznytsia Director General Borys Ostapiuk and the investigation into possible abuse of power in the railway administration was started. He thanked SBU for the investigation in the issue and pointed at the importance of brining the investigation to the logical end.
