“For a fourth day, the Australian Federal Police in Donetsk have
decided they do not have sufficient assurances of safety to send
investigators to seek human remains and evidence from the site of the
Malaysia Airlines disaster,” the newspaper reported on Wednesday, July 30.

According to the report, Australian police remain unwilling to risk
the lives of officers and investigators by trying to access the MH17
crash site, amid fears mystery combatants are now joining the rebels
fighting government forces.

As reported, experts from the Netherlands and Australia for several
days were unable to access to the plane crash site because of the
security situation in the region. OSCE observers are trying to negotiate
the passage of investigators to the crash site, but their attempts have
been unsuccessful so far.
