Leadership of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said it expected to expand contacts with the Ukrainians in order to discuss safety of international experts at the Malaysian Boeing crash site.

“The format of on-line consultations held on Skype is still
important. Working issues are namely discussed there. No political
issues are discussed. I think that soon such online contacts could
become daily,” DPR First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Purhin told
Interfax on Aug 5.

A wide range of issues is discussed in the framework of online
contacts, Purhin said. “Including the issue of how to ensure the safety
of international experts at the plane crash site, how to remove remains
of the deceased. A number of other working aspects are being discussed
and not using Grad [multiple launch rocket systems] at the crash site is
one of them,” Purgin said.

Besides the DPR leaders, online contacts also involve representatives
of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and
Ukraine and Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov.
