“The delegation heads extended their profound condolences to the
families and friends of the people who died when the Malaysia Airlines
passenger airplane crashed in the territory of Ukraine on July 17,
2014,” according to a statement adopted after the meeting.
“They reiterated the need for a transparent, impartial and
independent investigation and comprehensive cooperation as part of
efforts to establish the reasons behind this tragedy, as it is required
by the UN Security Council’s Resolution 2166,” the document says.
