Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Volodymyr Hroisman has predicted that the new parliament will begin its work on Dec. 1.

He said at a meeting with the European Business Association in Kyiv on Nov. 4 that a coalition agreement should be ready before the first meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.

“We have time until the first meeting of parliament. It will happen on Dec. 1. Before the government is formed, every minister should know his or her job,” he said.

Hroisman was elected an MP on the party list of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko.

Early parliamentary elections in Ukraine were held on Oct. 26.
