Batkivschyna filed a relevant appeal to Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeals.

The text of the appeal reads that, according to the Ukrainian legislation, ballot papers should include the names of the top five candidates on the party ticket. The CEC refused to register Tymoshenko and Lutsenko as parliamentary candidates, while, according to the plaintiff, “refusal to register [a candidate] is not a reason for his or her expulsion from the list.”

As reported, Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeals earlier threw out an appeal by the Batkivschyna Party against the printing of ballot papers for votes on party tickets without the names of former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko and former Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko on them.
