You're reading: Klitschko wants to work in parliamentary committee for state building

The UDAR Party is not to announce what parliamentary committees its members would like to chair until the issue on personal voting of MPs is settled, although the party's leader, Vitali Klitschko, has said he would like to work in the parliamentary committee on state building and local government.

“I think I could work in the committee on state building and local government. I think I could contribute to this committee and I would like to realize my potential in it,” Klitschko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.

At the same time, he did not specify what committees his party mates would like to chair.

“We don’t see any sense in discussing this until the issue of the personal voting of deputies is settled,” Klitschko said.

He said that there are many professionals in his team, and their work in the committees could help UDAR fulfill its election promises.
