Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn has said that the situation related to the determination of the results of the parliamentary elections had a negative impact on Ukraine's image.

“This situation has already affected the image of our state, as evidenced by official statements by the United States, Canada, the European Union, and other countries. Statements, as you know, are followed by real policy,” he said during an online conference on Facebook on November 23.

He also said that such statements serve as “a signal to the findings and adjustments of our policy.”

“Criticizing criticism is a losing position. Moreover, at this stage Ukraine cannot criticize our critics,” Lytvyn said.
