You're reading: Police opens case on intrusion in work of district election commission on No. 223

The police have opened a criminal case on the obstruction of the work of Deputy Head of Kyiv-based District Election Commission No. 223 Anastasia Prymak and the use of violence against her.

The capital’s main police office told journalists that the case is being investigated.

As reported, the district election commission No. 223 processed 82%
of vote count protocols. Self-nominated candidate Viktor Pylylpyshyn
(28.06%) won the elections over Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union’s candidate
Yuriy Levchenko.

On Nov. 1, all members of the district election commission No.
223 submitted to the police statements about threats received by them
and their families from the Svoboda candidate’s supporters.
