You're reading: Sitronics IT equips over half of voting stations with video surveillance systems

Sitronics Information Technologies, an international IT company, as of October 4 had equipped over half (17,698) of all polling stations in Ukraine with video surveillance systems, a report from the company reads.

According to it, every day the company installs over 2,700
hardware-software systems. Today polling stations in Donetsk region,
Dnipropetrovsk region, Zaporizhia region, Volyn region and Kyiv have the
largest numbers of installed video surveillance systems.

The parliamentary elections will be held in 33,757 election wards, of which 116 are located outside the country.

Sitronics IT is to set up equipment at a total of 32,192 stations.

As reported, the Ukrainian government selected Sitronics IT are the
organizer of the video surveillance system at polling stations on
October 28.

Earlier the Central Election Commission estimated that the video
surveillance system at the parliamentary elections would cost Hr 993.6
million.
